Canon Battery Grip BG-E20

Excellent design; easy to hold, works great. Contrary to comments by some that the battery tray is flimsy, the battery tray is well designed and more that adequately strong for its intended purpose. Of course, if I backed over it with my car, it would break. Others have complained about how batteries fit into the tray. Too bad they did not read the directions. Batteries lock into the tray exactly like they lock into the battery charger … by using slots on the sides of the battery. They firmly latch into the tray and do not fall out if the tray is inverted. This is great for changing batteries in the field; you don’t want them dropping into the mud. To remove batteries from the tray, you press the small release tab beside each battery and it pops right out. Could not be easier. My recommendation is to ignore the negative reviews. If this grip suits your purpose, go for it.
