This is a great deal. The grip fits nicely and looks good on the camera. This thing does everything the Canon grip does at a fraction of the cost.The color matches pretty much perfectly, and the rubber parts are nice and grippy.One thing I noticed is that the plastic is pretty rough. It’s almost like a light sand paper feeling, but you’re really not touching those parts of it when using the grip so it’s mostly a non issue.Can’t speak for longevity as I just got it today, but I will update if I notice any issues that come up.I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a grip for their R but don’t want to pay $2-300 for the Canon one.EDIT: In case you didn’t read the instruction manual like me, there’s a place on the false battery pillar that you can store the battery door and the connection cap, so you don’t have to worry about losing them!
