I’ve had this for about three months in my kit. I use it very little. But it is the fourth one that I have had. The prior three have broken at the end that goes into the camera body. However, those were purchased from a different company and are not the same manufacturer. I found this on Amazon, after being frustrated with the junk quality of the B&H replacement cables, and they were a bit cheaper in price… I figured it’s worth taking the risk because the expensive ones at $20 from BNH break as soon as you accidentally pushed a little bit on the end that goes into the camera body socket. So even if this one does the same—I have saved money and shipping was faster. In my opinion, there’s no reason why a little wire should cost anything more than a few dollars. This one suffices and seems to be built stronger than the ones that B & H sells. I use it on a Nikon D 5000, And it works just as it should.
