This is a rechargeable LiPO battery intended for trail cameras. It is charged via a USBC port. I found that it charges best on my 3-amp charger, where the charging light goes red to green quickly. When I try to charge using my 1.5-amp charger, it flashes red and green alternatively, which I assume means trouble of some sort. The 12V barrel jack port does not charge the battery.The load is attached via three metal dimples on one of the short sides. I popped the cover (6 #1 Phillips screws) at the risk of voiding the probably worthless warranty. The three exterior dimples are attached as follows: One contact has a slot in the cover and a clip near it and is attached to a black wire inside, of the other two, the one at the end has a red wire inside; the contact in the middle is attached to a yellow wire. The yellow wire has a voltage of 8.25 volts against either of the other two. There is zero volts passing between the red and black contacts.I have a plan for the four of these I have in hand. Ganging them up in two pairs connected in series should yield a voltage of 16.5 which will be enough to run an inverter or charge a 12-volt battery. Someone gifted me a 100 watt solar panel, so when the charge controller arrives I should be able to put them together and put these batteries through their paces.This product had a bonus – a 3 amp USB wall wart, as well as the two USBA to USBC cables usually supplied with similar products.
