Used this to wire a 12″ powered sub in an SUV.The wire was just enough to get from the dash to the back of the car. I am very happy with the results.So far so good. The ground wire was crazy short and is really useless. I used a leftover cable to work.I would not think of using the 40 amp fuse that came with the package. Wire gauge I purchased was way too small for the current. Purchased a plug in fuse holder that goes directly into the panel with a 10 amp fuse so that I did not need to go direct to the battery.
