I have yet to install in the project car, but I do have a high-dollar similar wheel from Italy with which I can compare. The construction and appearance seems top notch. The alcantara is smooth and well stitched, and the center hub appears thinner than the high-dollar version, but thick enough that it should be as durable as necessary. The center horn button is all plastic but I tested it and it does function.The mounting holes align with the Momo hub in my car, so installation will be straightforward. The D-shape is great for cars with non-adjustable deeply bolstered seats so one can get in and out of the car without using a quick-release, which in my case would result in the wheel being prohibitively close to the seat.With many wheels like this, it’s important to clean them very well to remove excess dyes and to expect some color transfer and I’ll update this review after some track time.One important consideration is that on modern cars, removing the airbag to use an aftermarket wheel should be a decision not taken lightly.
