(Pack of 2) NGK BPMR6A Spark Plugs Replaces Champion RCJ8Y; TY6079, TY6081

I am a lifelong over educated, certified to the hilt PROFESSIONAL auto/truck/heavy equipment mechanic with degrees, countless certifications (ASE MASTER, dozens of GM/Ford/Chrysler & Asian OEM certs) plus I was a tank mechanic on the M1A1 Abrams in the Army (I am a fully disabled veteran today) and I owned the #1 rated independent garage in the area for 27 years until I had to sell as my body failed and I’m nowhere near physically reliable.With that said, one thing I am able to do today when feeling well and able to stand/walk) is a lot of power equipment and small engine work. I do everything from basic maintenance to complete rebuilds of engines, hydrostatic transmissions (*the ones that CAN be rebuilt, not the garbage ones sold at chain stores*) and I’ve literally had engines that would not run with a cheap-o spark plug, including brand new ones, but you throw in an NGK plug in and magically the engine roars to life. I’ve had countless engines, motorcycles & ATVs, outboards etc. that would not run with your run of the mill no name plugs and sadly today, frequently Champion plugs too! I’ve pulled COUNTLESS platinum and double platinum plugs out of small engines that would not run and installing a copper core (or Iridium though they usually aren’t installed in small engines outside of Stihl power equipment due to price) NGK plug and like magic, the engine runs fine!NGK is among the top tier of spark plugs and I do indeed mean their entire line of spark plugs! You will NOT be disappointed with NGK plugs, and this is just shy of 40 years of PROFESSIONAL experience SAYING SO.I can’t recommend ANY spark plug higher than NGK. I do use others that are as good, but for this review I’m more focused on WHY you need to buy NGK plugs.Their copper core plugs are an AWESOME choice for small engines, 2 cycle engines including outboards as well as older vehicles that call for a copper core plug. Their Iridium spark plugs are optimal for countless modern engines and when you can find the proper heat range are OUTSTANDING in small engines, outboard engines etc. Then there is their Ruthenium HX plugs, which are even better than the iridium plugs!NGK offers technical training on their website, has a part finder to help you ensure you are buying the EXACT spark plugs for the application. This is above and beyond and one heck of a resource!The next time you need spark plugs be they for your lawnmower or brand new 700HP car, NGK has you covered, and you can rest assured you are buying the best available plugs there are!
